# Doggo Pokko owner preparation manual

This guide applies to the current HTTPS website and Node/MCP tools at https://doggopokko.sandboxmcp.app. The archived research manual describes an earlier Python localhost prototype; its transport/privacy description does not describe the public review service.

## Prepare a conversation

1. Open [the browser UI preview](/chat-ui/) when the native-UI candidate is active, or [the existing demo](/demo/), and choose one of seven goals. The preview is the same widget in a browser harness; it is not a ChatGPT conversation. You can use context without a photo.
2. Enter the details you know. Use city/locality instead of an exact address; leave unknown numbers blank. A known zero is different from an unknown expense. Avoid names, phone numbers, addresses, identifiers and raw records.
3. Optionally choose a JPEG/PNG/WebP under 5 MB for a browser-local preview. The website does not upload the file. Write only relevant observations as text if useful. Check the description and its basis before confirming it; editing the description clears confirmation.
4. Give consent for the entered text to be sent to the public preparation service. Prepare the enquiry. Example data is synthetic and still requires consent; it is not your dog's history.
5. Read missing questions, preparation cards, source links and unknowns. A reported emergency or pain/skin-change concern takes priority over routine preparation. No negative or missing answer establishes that the dog is safe.
6. Review the copyable note. Nothing has been sent to a professional. Decide yourself whether to share it after checking details and obtaining any necessary professional advice. Clear the form or reload when finished.

The returned note is a draft. It does not currently include the optional photo-description text; review and add relevant owner-confirmed observations yourself if you choose to share them. Changing the goal clears the previous form/result/photo preview.

## Choose the right goal

## Urgent or uncomfortable dogs

If you report breathing difficulty, collapse, seizures, substantial bleeding, suspected toxin ingestion or other emergency concerns, contact a veterinarian/emergency hospital directly and do not wait for this tool. If unsure, ask a veterinarian. The list is incomplete and the tool cannot determine urgency from a photo. Reported pain or skin change routes to a vet conversation before grooming/training. Avoid forcing uncomfortable handling or DIY cutting/pulling mats; seek professional help. ## Use photos as optional context

Take an ordinary daylight photo only if the dog is comfortable. Do not restrain, provoke behaviour, pull coat, open wounds or force access for a picture. Crop people, children, house numbers and paperwork; use photos you may share. A photo cannot establish diagnosis, exact breed, temperament, nutrition, measurements, qualifications, price or eligibility. History and professional assessment matter.

If using ChatGPT, a host may describe an attached photo. The Doggo Pokko server still has not seen its pixels. Check any proposed observations yourself before consenting to send a short description with source `chatgpt_observation` and `owner_confirmed:true`. Your own description uses `owner_report`. Unknown details remain unknown; a normal-looking description cannot override reported pain or an emergency.

## Check sources and total prices

Cards distinguish professional guidance, dated provider claims, owner anecdotes and preparation/design inference. Professional review of this product's cards remains pending. Source IDs let you inspect the supporting page in the [evidence graph](/research/graph/). Anecdotes are not prevalence or proof of provider quality.

Ask the provider about geographic coverage, dog suitability, methods, staff/qualifications, distress/stop policy, supervision and emergency process. Ask for scope, tax, travel, pickup, size/coat surcharges, optional extras, cancellation terms and a written inclusive total. A published ₹999 baseline is a dated grooming page claim, not your final quote, budget fit, endorsement or slot. After seven days or an invalid/future snapshot date, this tool displays price as unknown. No matching curated record means this tool lacks data, not that the city lacks services.

## Privacy and validation boundary

The website sends consented form text over HTTPS to the public Node service. It does not send the locally selected image bytes, filename or blob preview URL. The server does not save/log owner request bodies or responses, fetch URLs, contact providers, book, pay or run a paid model. It holds operational IP/count/expiry rate counters in bounded memory for up to 90 seconds. This is not an owner profile. Browser memory, copied notes, external websites and ChatGPT/host data handling have their own boundaries; this server policy does not establish their retention or privacy.

Engineering checks verified protocol/API/browser behaviour with synthetic contexts. No clinical, real owner-usability, paid-demand or image-model validation is claimed. ## Connect the native UI in ChatGPT

After the candidate with `open_owner_workspace` is active, use [ChatGPT Plugins](https://chatgpt.com/plugins): plus button → **Add custom MCP server**. Enter `https://doggopokko.sandboxmcp.app/mcp`, name the connection Doggo Pokko and configure it as this public unauthenticated server. Review the displayed warning, then choose **Create as a plugin**. Install the resulting plugin, open a new chat, select it with `@`, and ask “Open Doggo Pokko's owner workspace”. Host account permissions and supported surfaces may differ. Refresh the connection after server tools/metadata change. The registered technical ID is created by ChatGPT and starts with `plugin_asdk_app`. A portable package containing a skill and MCP URL does not prove registration. For a combined registered plugin, root must use the real resulting ID in `.app.json` and reference that file from the compatibility manifest's `apps` field. No placeholder ID or fabricated binding should be used. This build has not verified actual ChatGPT desktop/mobile rendering or an installed account binding; browser and protocol checks cannot establish either.

The candidate retains all five data tools and adds `open_owner_workspace` with empty arguments `{}`. Its UI resource is `ui://doggopokko/owner-workspace-v1.html`, MIME `text/html;profile=mcp-app`. A compatible host renders the widget from that resource and uses the MCP Apps bridge. The standalone preview is labelled as such. Long forms expand when supported and retain an inline fallback.

The widget keeps optional photos in local memory only: no image bytes, filename or object URL are sent to tools. Only explicitly consented, owner-confirmed text may be sent. Withdrawing consent discards a pending local result, but already-sent text cannot be recalled. Editing a description revokes its confirmation; reset clears fields/results/photo and revokes the preview URL. Nothing is stored in localStorage by the widget. ChatGPT/platform data handling is separate. Copy produces an unsent draft and never contacts a provider.
